This Acceptable Use Policy explains what users may and may not do when using WebbyTemplate.
This policy applies to all visitors, buyers, customers, authors, sellers, partners, freelancers, agencies, service providers, support users, account holders, and anyone who accesses or uses WebbyTemplate, including our website, marketplace, author tools, buyer dashboard, product pages, downloads, support tickets, reviews, Help Center, and related services.
This Acceptable Use Policy should be read together with WebbyTemplate’s Terms & Conditions, License Policy, Refund Policy, Support Policy, Author Terms & Policy, Download & Updates Policy, Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, product page details, Help Center articles, and any other applicable WebbyTemplate rules.
By accessing or using WebbyTemplate, you agree to follow this Acceptable Use Policy.
1. Overview
WebbyTemplate is a digital marketplace for templates, themes, UI kits, design assets, graphics, presentations, plugins, code products, photos, illustrations, and other approved digital products.
To keep the marketplace safe and fair, users must not misuse WebbyTemplate, harm other users, violate intellectual property rights, abuse downloads, manipulate reviews, misuse support, commit fraud, upload harmful files, or interfere with marketplace operations.
WebbyTemplate may take action if we believe a user, buyer, author, product, file, review, support ticket, account, transaction, or activity violates this policy.
2. General User Responsibilities
When using WebbyTemplate, you agree to:
- use the platform lawfully and honestly;
- provide accurate account, purchase, author, payout, and support information;
- respect intellectual property rights;
- follow license limits and product usage rules;
- use official WebbyTemplate systems for purchases, downloads, support, and author activity;
- communicate respectfully with buyers, authors, WebbyTemplate staff, and other users;
- avoid misleading, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or disruptive behavior.
You are responsible for your own account activity and for ensuring that anyone using your account follows WebbyTemplate policies.
3. Account Misuse
You must not misuse WebbyTemplate accounts.
Prohibited account activity includes:
- creating fake accounts;
- creating duplicate accounts to abuse offers, refunds, reviews, downloads, or author rules;
- sharing account login details with unauthorized users;
- selling, renting, transferring, or trading accounts;
- using another person’s account without permission;
- impersonating another person, company, author, buyer, agency, or WebbyTemplate representative;
- bypassing account suspension, restrictions, bans, or enforcement actions;
- providing false identity, author, payout, tax, or verification information;
- using accounts for spam, fraud, scraping, or unauthorized activity.
WebbyTemplate may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts involved in account misuse.
4. Download and License Abuse
Users must follow WebbyTemplate’s License Policy, Download & Updates Policy, and product-specific license rules.
You must not:
- share download links;
- share purchased product files with unauthorized users;
- upload WebbyTemplate products to file-sharing websites;
- resell or redistribute product files;
- give products away for free;
- use products after receiving a refund;
- use a product after payment reversal, chargeback, or cancelled license;
- use one license beyond its permitted site, project, or end product limit;
- use Personal, Commercial, or Agency licenses outside their allowed limits;
- bypass download restrictions;
- use automated tools to download products;
- scrape files, previews, metadata, or marketplace content;
- extract files from client work for reuse beyond the license;
- use products in prohibited template builders, SaaS libraries, asset generators, or download-on-demand systems without written permission.
WebbyTemplate may restrict downloads, cancel access, suspend accounts, cancel licenses, or take legal action for download or license abuse.
5. Product Redistribution and Resale Abuse
WebbyTemplate products are licensed for permitted use in final end products. They are not sold for unrestricted redistribution.
You must not:
- resell the original product;
- resell a modified version as a template, theme, asset, plugin, code product, UI kit, design file, or marketplace item;
- upload products to another marketplace;
- include products in bundles, libraries, template packs, or asset collections for redistribution;
- allow others to download, copy, extract, or reuse source files;
- make product files publicly accessible;
- distribute source files to clients beyond what is necessary for the permitted final end product;
- claim ownership of the original product or author work.
This applies even if you modify the product.
6. Author and Product Submission Abuse
Authors must submit only products they own or have valid rights to distribute.
Authors must not upload or submit:
- copied products;
- stolen files;
- scraped content;
- unauthorized third-party assets;
- misleading previews;
- fake product descriptions;
- incomplete or broken products;
- corrupted files;
- malware, viruses, spyware, or harmful code;
- hidden tracking or unauthorized data collection;
- products that violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- products that violate WebbyTemplate’s product quality standards;
- products that misrepresent included files, features, compatibility, or licensing.
WebbyTemplate may reject, remove, suspend, or disable products that violate this policy.
Author earnings connected to violating products may be held, reversed, delayed, deducted, or reviewed.
7. Intellectual Property Abuse
Users must respect copyright, trademark, design rights, brand rights, and other intellectual property rights.
You must not:
- upload products you do not own or have permission to sell;
- copy another author’s product;
- copy products from another marketplace;
- misuse third-party images, fonts, icons, code, plugins, templates, or design assets;
- use brand names, logos, or trademarks in a misleading way;
- falsely claim ownership of someone else’s work;
- remove required copyright, license, or attribution notices;
- submit false ownership claims;
- use WebbyTemplate products to create competing marketplace products.
Intellectual property complaints are handled under WebbyTemplate’s Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy.
8. Review and Rating Abuse
Reviews and ratings must be honest, fair, and based on real user experience.
You must not:
- post fake reviews;
- post reviews for products you have not genuinely used;
- pay for dishonest reviews;
- offer rewards for positive reviews;
- pressure users to remove honest reviews;
- threaten buyers or authors over reviews;
- post competitor attacks;
- post author self-reviews;
- manipulate ratings using multiple accounts;
- coordinate review manipulation;
- submit abusive, hateful, false, or irrelevant reviews;
- use reviews to advertise unrelated products or services.
WebbyTemplate may moderate, reject, hide, remove, or investigate reviews that violate this policy.
9. Support System Abuse
Users must use WebbyTemplate’s support system respectfully and reasonably.
You must not:
- send abusive, threatening, hateful, or harassing messages;
- open spam tickets;
- repeatedly open duplicate tickets for the same issue;
- make unreasonable demands;
- ask authors to provide free custom work outside normal support;
- request services that are not included in product support;
- upload unsafe or unrelated attachments;
- share malware, harmful files, or illegal content;
- misuse support to pressure authors for refunds;
- ask authors or users to bypass WebbyTemplate rules;
- request payment, refunds, or private deals outside approved channels;
- share unnecessary sensitive personal information, passwords, or payment details.
WebbyTemplate may close tickets, restrict support access, suspend accounts, or take other action for support abuse.
10. Fraud, Refund, and Payment Abuse
Users must not misuse payments, refunds, chargebacks, payouts, or marketplace financial systems.
Prohibited activity includes:
- using stolen payment methods;
- making fraudulent purchases;
- opening false payment disputes;
- committing chargeback abuse;
- requesting refunds dishonestly;
- claiming non-delivery after successful download or access;
- using products after refund;
- manipulating purchases for earnings or reviews;
- creating fake orders;
- making false author earning claims;
- submitting false payout information;
- attempting payout fraud;
- abusing coupons, promotions, credits, or discounts;
- using multiple accounts to bypass payment, refund, or promotion limits.
WebbyTemplate may deny refunds, cancel licenses, suspend access, hold author earnings, reverse earnings, restrict accounts, or report illegal activity where appropriate.
11. Security Abuse
You must not interfere with WebbyTemplate’s security, systems, users, or marketplace operations.
You must not:
- hack or attempt to hack WebbyTemplate;
- probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without written permission;
- access private, restricted, admin, buyer, author, or system areas without authorization;
- bypass security controls;
- bypass payment, download, or license controls;
- upload malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, worms, trojans, or harmful scripts;
- use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated tools without permission;
- overload, disrupt, or damage WebbyTemplate systems;
- attempt denial-of-service attacks;
- reverse engineer protected platform systems;
- intercept user data;
- collect user data without permission;
- use WebbyTemplate to distribute harmful files.
Security abuse may result in immediate suspension, product removal, access cancellation, reporting to authorities, and legal action.
12. Data and Privacy Abuse
Users must respect privacy and personal information.
You must not:
- collect user data without permission;
- misuse buyer, author, or support information;
- sell or share user information;
- send unauthorized marketing messages;
- scrape emails, profiles, product data, or account information;
- request unnecessary personal information;
- share private support details publicly;
- upload sensitive personal data unless necessary and safely requested;
- misuse information obtained through support tickets, purchases, author tools, or marketplace communication.
Authors must only use buyer information where necessary for product support or marketplace-related purposes.
Privacy-related matters are handled under WebbyTemplate’s Privacy Policy.
13. Communication Abuse
Users must communicate respectfully on WebbyTemplate.
You must not send or post content that is:
- abusive;
- threatening;
- harassing;
- hateful;
- discriminatory;
- defamatory;
- obscene;
- sexually explicit where inappropriate;
- violent;
- misleading;
- spammy;
- fraudulent;
- impersonating someone else;
- intended to shame, pressure, or intimidate another user.
WebbyTemplate may remove messages, close tickets, restrict accounts, or take enforcement action for communication abuse.
14. Marketplace Manipulation
Users must not manipulate WebbyTemplate’s marketplace systems.
Prohibited activity includes:
- fake purchases;
- fake downloads;
- fake reviews;
- fake support tickets;
- artificial traffic manipulation;
- ranking manipulation;
- search manipulation;
- author collusion;
- buyer-author collusion;
- competitor sabotage;
- misleading sales activity;
- abusing coupons or promotions;
- using bots to influence marketplace activity;
- creating multiple accounts to manipulate product visibility.
WebbyTemplate may remove manipulated activity, adjust records, suspend accounts, hold earnings, or take other action.
15. Prohibited Content
Users must not upload, submit, sell, share, or promote content that:
- violates law;
- infringes intellectual property rights;
- contains malware or harmful code;
- supports fraud, phishing, hacking, or scams;
- promotes illegal activity;
- promotes hate, harassment, or violence;
- contains exploitative or abusive material;
- includes unauthorized personal data;
- impersonates people, companies, brands, or authorities;
- contains misleading claims;
- violates WebbyTemplate policies;
- creates legal, security, or marketplace risk.
WebbyTemplate may reject, remove, restrict, or report prohibited content.
16. Spam and Unwanted Activity
You must not use WebbyTemplate for spam or unwanted activity.
This includes:
- sending repetitive or irrelevant messages;
- promoting unrelated services through support tickets or reviews;
- posting unsolicited advertising;
- using product comments or reviews for spam;
- submitting irrelevant author applications;
- uploading low-quality or duplicate products at scale;
- using bots to create accounts, tickets, reviews, or downloads;
- sending phishing links or suspicious links.
WebbyTemplate may restrict accounts, remove content, block activity, or suspend access for spam.
17. Partner & Service Provider Abuse
WebbyTemplate may introduce customers to third-party partners, freelancers, agencies, or service providers based on customer requirements.
Users must not misuse partner or service-provider introduction workflows.
Prohibited activity includes:
- submitting fake project requirements;
- impersonating a customer, partner, freelancer, agency, or service provider;
- misleading customers about partner, freelancer, agency, or service-provider status;
- claiming to be an official WebbyTemplate partner, freelancer, agency, or service provider without approval;
- requesting payments outside agreed terms;
- making false service promises;
- using partner or service-provider introductions to spam customers;
- misusing customer project details.
Unless WebbyTemplate clearly states otherwise, partner, freelancer, agency, or service-provider services are provided through separate arrangements between the customer and the selected provider.
18. Misuse of Help Center and Platform Content
WebbyTemplate may provide Help Center articles, documentation, guides, product descriptions, marketplace content, and policy pages.
You must not:
- copy WebbyTemplate content for competing services;
- scrape Help Center or marketplace content;
- reproduce policy, documentation, or product content in a misleading way;
- use WebbyTemplate branding without permission;
- create fake WebbyTemplate pages, emails, or support channels;
- misrepresent WebbyTemplate rules or communications.
Users may share links to official WebbyTemplate pages for normal informational purposes.
19. Circumventing Platform Rules
You must not attempt to bypass WebbyTemplate policies, controls, or marketplace workflows.
This includes:
- avoiding platform fees;
- moving required transactions outside WebbyTemplate;
- bypassing support ticket systems;
- avoiding refund rules;
- bypassing payout holds;
- bypassing product review;
- avoiding license limits;
- bypassing account restrictions;
- using hidden links, private deals, or misleading instructions to avoid marketplace rules.
WebbyTemplate may restrict accounts, hold earnings, remove products, cancel access, or take other enforcement action for circumvention.
20. Enforcement Actions
If WebbyTemplate believes this Acceptable Use Policy has been violated, WebbyTemplate may take one or more actions, including:
- issue a warning;
- request correction;
- remove content;
- remove or edit reviews;
- close support tickets;
- restrict support access;
- restrict downloads;
- cancel or suspend license access;
- remove products;
- disable product sales;
- reduce product visibility;
- suspend accounts;
- terminate accounts;
- hold author earnings;
- reverse author earnings;
- delay or reject withdrawals;
- deny refunds where abuse is found;
- cancel purchases;
- block payment methods;
- report illegal activity;
- cooperate with legal authorities;
- take legal action where appropriate.
WebbyTemplate may take action with or without prior notice where necessary to protect users, authors, buyers, rights owners, the platform, or the marketplace.
21. Author Earnings and Enforcement
If an author violates this policy, WebbyTemplate may review the author’s earnings, products, support history, payout requests, and account activity.
WebbyTemplate may hold, reverse, deduct, delay, or refuse author earnings connected to:
- fraudulent sales;
- copied or infringing products;
- refund abuse;
- chargebacks;
- product misrepresentation;
- malware or harmful files;
- support failures;
- payout fraud;
- policy violations;
- marketplace manipulation;
- legal claims;
- buyer harm caused by author activity.
Where appropriate, remaining approved earnings may be paid after review, verification, deductions, and applicable compliance checks.
22. Buyer Access and Enforcement
If a buyer violates this policy, WebbyTemplate may restrict or cancel:
- downloads;
- update access;
- support access;
- license access;
- account access;
- future purchases;
- refund eligibility;
- review permissions;
- support ticket access.
Using products after refund, chargeback, cancelled payment, or cancelled license may be treated as unauthorized use.
23. Reporting Abuse
Users may report suspected misuse, abuse, fraud, copyright issues, harmful files, or policy violations to WebbyTemplate.

When reporting an issue, please include relevant details such as:
- product URL;
- account or username, if known;
- order ID, if applicable;
- ticket number, if applicable;
- screenshots;

- supporting evidence.
False or abusive reports may result in account restrictions or other action.
24. No Obligation to Monitor Everything
WebbyTemplate may review content, products, accounts, tickets, reviews, downloads, transactions, and activity where appropriate, but WebbyTemplate is not required to monitor every action on the platform.
WebbyTemplate may rely on automated systems, manual review, user reports, author reports, buyer reports, payment provider information, legal notices, and other available information to detect violations.
Failure to act immediately in one case does not waive WebbyTemplate’s right to act later or in similar cases.
