This Review Policy explains how product reviews, ratings, author responses, review moderation, and review-related marketplace rules work on WebbyTemplate.

This policy applies to buyers, authors, customers, visitors, reviewers, and anyone who submits, responds to, reports, or interacts with reviews on WebbyTemplate.

This Review Policy should be read together with WebbyTemplate’s Terms & Conditions, License Policy, Refund Policy, Support Policy, Author Terms & Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Download & Updates Policy, Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy, Privacy Policy, product page details, Help Center articles, and any other applicable WebbyTemplate rules.

By submitting, viewing, responding to, reporting, or interacting with reviews on WebbyTemplate, you agree to this Review Policy.

1. Overview

Reviews help buyers make informed decisions and help authors improve their products.

WebbyTemplate allows eligible buyers to share honest feedback about purchased products, including product quality, usability, documentation, support experience, and overall satisfaction.

Reviews must be honest, relevant, respectful, and based on real experience with the product.

WebbyTemplate may moderate, approve, reject, hide, edit for formatting, remove, or investigate reviews where necessary to protect marketplace trust, prevent abuse, enforce policies, or comply with legal requirements.

2. Who Can Leave a Review?

WebbyTemplate may allow only verified buyers to leave reviews for products they have purchased.

A verified buyer means a user who purchased the product through WebbyTemplate using a valid account and order.

WebbyTemplate may restrict reviews from users who:

  • did not purchase the product;
  • received a refund for the product;
  • opened a fraudulent or abusive chargeback;
  • violated WebbyTemplate policies;
  • are suspected of review manipulation;
  • are using fake, duplicate, or abusive accounts;
  • are connected to the author in a way that may create a dishonest review.

WebbyTemplate may decide review eligibility based on purchase records, account status, refund status, payment status, and marketplace integrity rules.

3. What Reviews Should Be About

Reviews should be about the purchased product and the buyer’s real experience.

A helpful review may discuss:

  • product quality;
  • design quality;
  • code quality;
  • file organization;
  • ease of use;
  • documentation;
  • included features;
  • product accuracy compared to the product page;
  • compatibility experience;
  • author support experience;
  • value for the selected license;
  • whether the product worked as expected.

Reviews should be specific, fair, and useful for other buyers.

4. What Reviews Should Not Include

Reviews should not include:

  • abusive language;
  • personal attacks;
  • threats or harassment;
  • hate speech or discriminatory content;
  • false statements;
  • spam;
  • unrelated advertising;
  • private personal information;
  • payment details;
  • passwords or login details;
  • support ticket details that expose private information;
  • misleading claims;
  • unrelated complaints about other products;
  • complaints about issues caused by buyer modifications or unsupported third-party tools, unless clearly explained;
  • content that violates law or WebbyTemplate policies.

WebbyTemplate may reject, edit, hide, or remove reviews that contain prohibited or inappropriate content.

5. Review Moderation and Approval

Reviews may be subject to moderation or authorization before becoming visible on WebbyTemplate.

WebbyTemplate may review submitted reviews to check for:

  • verified purchase status;
  • relevance to the product;
  • abusive or harmful language;
  • fake or manipulated reviews;
  • private information;
  • spam;
  • copyright or legal concerns;
  • policy violations;
  • conflicts of interest;
  • suspicious activity.

A review may not appear immediately after submission.

WebbyTemplate is not required to publish every submitted review.

6. Ratings

WebbyTemplate may allow buyers to submit a rating with or without written review text.

Ratings should reflect the buyer’s honest experience with the product.

A rating may relate to factors such as:

  • product quality;
  • product accuracy;
  • ease of use;
  • documentation;
  • support experience;
  • overall satisfaction.

WebbyTemplate may remove, adjust, or restrict ratings where there is evidence of abuse, manipulation, fraud, refund misuse, policy violation, or technical error.

7. Honest Reviews Required

Reviews must be genuine and based on real experience.

Users must not submit reviews that are:

  • fake;
  • misleading;
  • copied;
  • dishonest;
  • automated;
  • created by bots;
  • created through duplicate accounts;
  • written by someone who did not use or purchase the product;
  • submitted to unfairly harm or promote a product;
  • submitted in exchange for improper rewards or pressure.

WebbyTemplate may remove reviews that appear dishonest or manipulated.

8. Prohibited Review Manipulation

Users must not manipulate reviews or ratings.

Prohibited activity includes:

  • posting fake positive reviews;
  • posting fake negative reviews;
  • asking others to post dishonest reviews;
  • paying for reviews;
  • offering rewards for positive reviews;
  • offering discounts, gifts, refunds, or benefits in exchange for positive reviews;
  • threatening buyers to remove negative reviews;
  • pressuring buyers to change honest reviews;
  • authors reviewing their own products;
  • authors using friends, employees, agencies, or fake accounts to review their products dishonestly;
  • competitors posting negative reviews to harm another author;
  • creating multiple accounts to influence ratings;
  • coordinating review campaigns that mislead buyers.

Review manipulation may result in review removal, account restriction, product suspension, payout review, or author account action.

9. Author Reviews of Their Own Products

Authors may not review or rate their own products.

Authors may not use another account to review their own products or ask others to submit dishonest reviews on their behalf.

Authors may not review competitor products dishonestly to harm marketplace ranking or buyer trust.

If WebbyTemplate detects author self-review or review manipulation, WebbyTemplate may remove the review and take marketplace action.

10. Author Responses to Reviews

Where available, authors may respond to buyer reviews.

Author responses should be professional, respectful, helpful, and relevant.

Authors may use responses to:

  • thank buyers for feedback;
  • clarify product details;
  • explain how to use a feature;
  • offer help through the official support system;
  • acknowledge valid issues;
  • explain updates or fixes;
  • invite the buyer to create a support ticket where appropriate.

Authors must not use review responses to:

  • attack buyers;
  • insult or shame reviewers;
  • reveal private buyer information;
  • pressure buyers to change reviews;
  • request payment outside WebbyTemplate;
  • argue aggressively;
  • make false claims;
  • share support ticket details publicly;
  • promote unrelated products or services;
  • violate WebbyTemplate policies.

WebbyTemplate may edit, hide, or remove author responses that violate this policy.

11. Negative Reviews

Buyers may leave negative reviews if the review is honest, relevant, respectful, and based on real experience.

A negative review will not be removed only because an author disagrees with it or because it may affect sales.

However, WebbyTemplate may remove or restrict a negative review if it violates this Review Policy, contains false or abusive content, includes private information, is unrelated to the product, or appears to be part of review manipulation.

Authors should respond professionally and use support tickets to resolve product issues where appropriate.

12. Reviews and Support Issues

If a buyer has a support issue, the buyer should use WebbyTemplate’s official support ticket system where available.

A review should not replace a proper support request.

WebbyTemplate may consider review content, support ticket history, author response time, product condition, and buyer cooperation when reviewing support disputes or refund requests.

If an issue can be resolved through support, WebbyTemplate may encourage the buyer and author to use the support ticket system.

13. Reviews and Refunds

A review does not automatically create a refund right.

Refunds are handled under WebbyTemplate’s Refund Policy.

WebbyTemplate may consider review content during refund review if the review describes a valid product issue, missing support, defective files, misleading product description, or other refund-related concern.

If a buyer receives a refund, WebbyTemplate may remove, hide, restrict, or keep the review depending on the situation, marketplace integrity, product experience, and applicable policy.

Buyers must not use reviews to threaten authors or force refunds outside the normal refund process.

14. Reviews After Product Updates

Product updates may affect the buyer experience.

A review may reflect the buyer’s experience at the time of purchase, download, setup, support request, or product use.

Authors may respond to reviews to explain that an issue has been fixed in a later update, where appropriate.

WebbyTemplate may allow updated reviews or review edits where supported by the platform, but this is not guaranteed.

15. Review Removal

WebbyTemplate may remove, hide, reject, or restrict a review if it:

  • is fake or manipulated;
  • is not based on a real purchase;
  • is unrelated to the product;
  • contains abuse, threats, harassment, or hate speech;
  • contains private information;
  • includes payment details, login details, or sensitive information;
  • contains spam or promotional content;
  • is submitted by a competitor in bad faith;
  • is submitted by the author or someone connected to the author dishonestly;
  • contains false or misleading claims;
  • violates copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights;
  • violates WebbyTemplate policies;
  • creates legal or marketplace risk.

WebbyTemplate may remove all or part of a review where appropriate.

16. Review Editing

WebbyTemplate may edit reviews only where reasonably necessary.

Editing may be used to:

  • remove private information;
  • remove offensive language;
  • remove spam links;
  • fix formatting issues;
  • remove unrelated content;
  • comply with law or policy;
  • protect user privacy;
  • reduce legal or security risk.

WebbyTemplate will not intentionally change the main meaning of a genuine review unless the review violates policy and must be restricted, removed, or corrected.

17. Reporting a Review

Users may report a review that appears to violate this Review Policy.

A report may involve:

  • fake review;
  • abusive review;
  • spam;
  • private information;
  • competitor attack;
  • author self-review;
  • unrelated content;
  • false claims;
  • review manipulation;
  • legal or copyright concern.

18. Review Investigation

When WebbyTemplate investigates a review, it may review:

  • purchase records;
  • account history;
  • refund history;
  • support ticket history;
  • author and buyer communication;
  • review content;
  • rating activity;
  • IP, device, or technical signals where appropriate;
  • suspicious account patterns;
  • previous policy violations;
  • other marketplace records.

WebbyTemplate may take action based on available evidence and marketplace risk.

WebbyTemplate is not required to disclose all investigation details to buyers, authors, or complainants.

19. Reviews and Product Ranking

Reviews and ratings may affect product visibility, buyer trust, marketplace ranking, recommendations, or product performance indicators.

WebbyTemplate may use reviews and ratings to improve product discovery and marketplace quality.

However, WebbyTemplate may adjust or exclude reviews from ranking or visibility calculations if they appear fake, manipulated, abusive, technically invalid, or policy-violating.

20. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers submitting reviews must:

  • be honest;
  • be respectful;
  • focus on the purchased product;
  • avoid personal attacks;
  • avoid private information;
  • avoid false claims;
  • avoid spam or unrelated promotion;
  • use support tickets for support issues where appropriate;
  • update or clarify a review if they later learn important information;
  • follow WebbyTemplate policies.

Buyers should not use reviews as a tool for threats, harassment, refund abuse, or unfair pressure.

21. Author Responsibilities

Authors must respect honest buyer feedback.

Authors should:

  • respond professionally;
  • avoid harassment or retaliation;
  • use feedback to improve products;
  • provide support through official channels;
  • fix valid product issues where reasonably required;
  • avoid review manipulation;
  • avoid pressuring buyers to change or remove reviews;
  • report policy-violating reviews properly instead of attacking reviewers.

Repeated review-related abuse by an author may result in product review, product suspension, reduced visibility, payout review, or account action.

22. Review Abuse and Enforcement

If WebbyTemplate finds review abuse, it may take action, including:

  • rejecting the review;
  • hiding the review;
  • removing the review;
  • editing prohibited content from the review;
  • removing ratings from product averages;
  • restricting review permissions;
  • suspending account access;
  • suspending author products;
  • reducing product visibility;
  • holding or reviewing author earnings;
  • investigating related accounts;
  • taking action under the Acceptable Use Policy;
  • taking legal or marketplace action where appropriate.

WebbyTemplate may act with or without prior notice where necessary to protect marketplace integrity.

23. No Guarantee of Published Reviews

Submitting a review does not guarantee that the review will be published.

WebbyTemplate may delay, moderate, reject, remove, or restrict reviews for policy, safety, legal, marketplace, technical, or operational reasons.

WebbyTemplate may also temporarily disable reviews or ratings for certain products, accounts, or categories where necessary.
