At WebbyTemplate, we sell digital products through a marketplace model. Because digital products can usually be accessed or downloaded immediately after purchase, all sales are generally treated as final unless a refund is permitted under this Refund Policy.

This Refund Policy explains when a refund may be considered, how refund requests are reviewed, and how approved refunds are processed.

1. General Refund Rule

Digital product purchases made on WebbyTemplate are generally non-refundable unless the customer qualifies under one of the eligible refund cases listed in this policy.

Refund requests must generally be submitted within 7 days from the purchase date.

2. Eligible Refund Cases

A refund may be considered in the following situations:

2.1 Duplicate Purchase or Duplicate Payment

If you accidentally purchased the same product more than once, or you were charged more than once for the same order, you may request a refund for the duplicate transaction.

2.2 Non-Delivery

If your payment was successfully completed but the product was not delivered to your account and you did not receive valid access to the purchased item, you may request a refund.

2.3 Corrupted, Defective, or Unusable Files

If the product files are corrupted, incomplete, broken, or technically unusable in a way that prevents normal use, a refund may be considered.

2.4 Materially Not as Described

If the product is materially different from the product description, preview, features, or key claims shown on the product page, a refund may be considered.

2.5 Unauthorized or Fraudulent Transaction

If a purchase was made without your authorization or through a fraudulent transaction, a refund may be considered after verification and review.

2.6 Promised Support Not Provided

If a product includes promised support and the author does not provide the required support within a reasonable time, and the issue remains unresolved after review, a refund may be considered.

3. Resolution Before Refund

For technical issues, defective files, product misrepresentation, or support-related issues, WebbyTemplate may first attempt to resolve the issue before approving a refund.

This may include:

  • asking the author to provide assistance;
  • reviewing product files and screenshots;
  • confirming whether the issue can be fixed;
  • verifying whether the issue is caused by the product itself or by the customer’s setup, environment, or unsupported use.

If the issue can be reasonably resolved, a refund may be denied after the solution is provided.

If the issue cannot be reasonably resolved, a refund may be approved.

4. Refunds After Download

Downloading a product does not automatically prevent a refund.

If the customer has already downloaded the product, a refund may still be considered in valid cases such as:

  • defective or corrupted files;
  • material misrepresentation;
  • non-functioning core files;
  • promised support not provided;
  • unauthorized/fraudulent purchase.

However, once files have been downloaded, refunds will not be granted for reasons such as change of mind, mistaken preference, lack of skill, or unsupported use cases.

5. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will generally not be granted in the following cases:

  • change of mind after purchase;
  • you no longer need the product;
  • you purchased the wrong product by mistake but the product was correctly delivered;
  • you did not read the product description, requirements, compatibility notes, or preview information;
  • the product does not work with software, tools, plugins, hosting, themes, frameworks, or environments not stated as supported;
  • you expected customization, installation, or consulting that was not included;
  • you do not have the necessary knowledge to use the product;
  • your issue is caused by third-party tools, services, hosting, or software not controlled by the author or WebbyTemplate;
  • your request is made after the 7-day refund request window;
  • you fail to provide enough evidence for review;
  • the issue is minor and does not materially affect the core use of the product;
  • you are requesting a refund for a downloaded product only because you changed your mind or found an alternative later.

6. Product Access, Updates, and Refund Relationship

Purchases on WebbyTemplate generally include:

  • download access for 1 year from the purchase date;
  • update access for 1 year from the purchase date, where updates are made available;
  • 6 months of normal author support, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

The fact that a product has a limited access/update period does not, by itself, create a refund right.

A customer may continue using the version of the product already downloaded during the valid access period, in accordance with the applicable license terms.

7. How to Request a Refund

Please include:

  • your order number;
  • the product name;
  • the email address used for the purchase;
  • a clear explanation of the issue;
  • screenshots, error messages, file evidence, or other supporting material where relevant.

Incomplete requests may take longer to review or may be rejected if there is not enough information to verify the issue.

8. Refund Review Process

All refund requests are reviewed by WebbyTemplate.

During review, WebbyTemplate may:

  • verify the order and payment status;
  • check whether the product was downloaded;
  • review the product page and description;
  • review customer-provided evidence;
  • contact the author for clarification or support;
  • attempt a resolution before refunding;
  • request additional information from the customer.

Refund reviews are generally completed within a reasonable period, but timing may vary depending on complexity, evidence, author response, payment review, or fraud checks.

WebbyTemplate reserves the right to approve or deny a refund request based on the facts of each case.

9. Refund Method

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

If the original payment method is unavailable, restricted, expired, or technically impossible to use, WebbyTemplate may determine an alternative lawful refund method where appropriate.

WebbyTemplate is not responsible for delays caused by payment gateways, card issuers, banks, or third-party payment processors after a refund has been initiated.

10. Fraud, Abuse, and Chargebacks

Refund abuse, repeated unjustified refund claims, false claims, manipulated evidence, or misuse of the chargeback process may result in:

  • refund denial;
  • account restriction;
  • suspension or termination of the account;
  • limitation of future purchases or marketplace access.

If a chargeback is filed, WebbyTemplate may review the transaction, suspend related product access, and hold or reverse related author earnings while the matter is under review.

11. Author Support and Refunds

Where a product includes support, customers are encouraged to first seek normal support from the author for technical issues, bug-related concerns, or product clarification.

If promised support is not provided within a reasonable time and the issue remains unresolved, WebbyTemplate may review the matter and may consider a refund where appropriate.

Normal support does not automatically include customization, installation, advanced consulting, or third-party troubleshooting unless expressly stated on the product page.
